PoBA's Mission

PoBA's mission is to propagate generations of intelligent, upwardly mobile, refined, successful, gentlemen of color.

About PoBA

PoBA was founded to combat issues plaguing young men of color in society in the US. Our objectives are to combat self defeat, lack of ambition, and families who undervalue education.

We promote education, high academic achievement, and continuing education. We strive to improve confidence, motivation, and goal driven action. We also focus on intelligent decision making, appearance, first impressions, and morals.

Young Black and Latino men are leading the country's drop-out rates, murder rates, incarceration rates, HIV/AIDS infection, unemployment, and various crime statistics. The big picture is that, although these issues plague men of color, these issues affect everyone. 

The lifestyles that lead to incarceration and other misfortunes are fostered by a paucity of opportunity and an absence of positive figures that exhibit possible alternatives.

PoBA is on a mission to provide opportunities and positive figures to underprivileged youth all over the country.
